Happy Monday! I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend. I am so excited today because WE HAVE OUR HOUSE! It feels so good to be a homeowner. Be ready for lots of pictures coming your way soon! Until then, I am sharing with you our farmhouse dining room table that Brad and I built with the help of his Dad and Grandpa. They have been so much help during all of our furniture building. We definitely wouldn’t be able to do it without them. Last week I shared our farmhouse styled end tables and the week before I shared our DIY Garage Sale Restoration. We used the same stain color as the restoration and it’s amazing how different the color looks on two different pieces.
Now sit back, fill up your cup with coffee (or tea) and enjoy our building process.
Again, we used the plans from ana-white.com to build our table.
The next step was to sand everything really good so the stain would look good.
Here is a close up of the detailed legs.
Once everything was sanded, the next step was to apply the stain & polyurethane.
Now for the final product! Ta-Da!
