Happy Monday! This weekend was crazy! I spent Friday through Sunday celebrating my best friend’s bachelorette party. Let me just tell you, today is rough! Whenever I am feeling a little rough, I like to turn to something sweet. I’m so glad I have these cinnamon sugar donuts. Trust me, you need to make these! These donuts seriously took me 25 minutes to make (18 of those minutes were baking).
What you need:
-A package of refrigerated biscuits.
-2 tbsp. Cinnamon
-4 tbsp. Sugar
-1 stick of Butter
The first thing you are going to want to do is preheat the oven to 350 degrees. While the oven is heating, open your biscuits and cut into quarters if you are using jumbo biscuits. If you are using regular biscuits, cut in half instead of quarters.
Place the stick of butter in a microwave safe bowl with a paper towel over top (to avoid splatter), melt the butter. I recommend doing 30 second increments. While the butter is melting, roll the cut biscuits into balls. Combine the cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.
Dip the rolled biscuits in the butter, then drench in the cinnamon sugar. Repeat the process until all biscuits are coated. Place the coated balls in a small pie plate that has been coated with non-stick spray. Once all have been coated and placed in the pie plate, bake for 18-20 minutes.
Enjoy with a nice hot cup of coffee or your favorite breakfast foods.
What’s your go-to treat when you aren’t feeling the greatest?
Are you a donut fan? If so, what’s your favorite kind?
