Today was the day that my sister-in-laws and their families came down to visit. We all went to a local bowling alley. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! I just love being around my sister- and brother-in-laws but I especially love being around my 3 ( ages: 4, 18 months, 7 months) nephews and niece (age: 2). The 4 kids are just the most precious babies! I wasn’t sure how bowling was going to work with such kids but it did and it was adorable. The 7 month old just laid in his car seat or on my lap and the 18 month old ran around like a crazy man but the other two had such a blast! The 4 year old was able to roll the bowling ball pretty well but our niece used a ramp. They both got so excited whenever they would knock a pin down. I’m pretty sure that my 4 year old nephew would beat me in a game. How sad is that?! The best part of watching them bowl was having them all lay on the ground at their lane watching their ball roll towards the pin. It was probably the cutest thing ever!
Anyways, I had a wonderful time bonding with my sister-in-laws. They are the best older sisters that I never had. One of them just had a baby 7 months ago (obviously) but she is the size of a toothpick. She told me today that she is smaller now than she was before the baby. Wait, how??? I swear I gained her baby weight, yuck! So I am now giving her my clothes that don’t fit me anymore. It is now time to start hitting the gym hard because I don’t want to be the outcast. The other one is expecting. Yay! I can’t wait until July gets here. She is having a little girl, which is her first. It’s actually the first girl on her husband’s side of the family in 3 generations. How cool is that?! Oh, but I did get to see the baby move through her shirt. Such a magical moment to see that.
After having a house full of 4 kids, I have to say that I appreciate the quiet apartment but I am ready to have a house full of munchkins…some day! I had such a wonderful time with my future family. I hope all of y’all had a great weekend. I’m gonna get back to the ACM awards.
